Welcome to main stage center for the Arts

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Main Stage Center for the Arts. Founded in 1979, MSCA prides itself on offering quality dance instruction with certified instructors. All classes at MSCA  will use only age-appropriate movement, costumes and music. We feel that this is an integral aspect of teaching young dancers proper dance etiquette and the importance of respecting themselves, one another, instructors, parents and the studio space.  Movements in class, production choreography, and costumes are always tasteful and appropriate for the age group being taught. Main Stage is a safe, positive, and professional environment for students of all ages.  At Main Stage Center for the Arts our focus is on the ability of the individual student. Our goal is to help every dancer attain their highest potential as a dancer and as a person. Each child is important to us and receives the same attention, whether they are enrolled in one class or multiple classes per week. Please take a moment to browse the site. If you are unable to find the information you need, we are happy to assist you Please contact us at info@mainstagedance.com.

Life experience through Dance

As time passes, our students may no longer remember the choreography they learned at MSCA; however, they will always treasure their individual experiences and the relationships formed here as they develop the readiness and confidence for a successful life whether or not they have chosen to be life-long dancers.  We provide students in all areas of dance with a strong technical foundation in a nurturing professional atmosphere. While not all students have professional aspirations, they will develop poise and confidence, as well as a love of the arts. The focus, commitment and discipline gained during class and rehearsal are qualities that extend to all areas of life. Students will also build strength, coordination, flexibility, balance and musicality. Dance is a performing art, therefore we offer the opportunity for all students to participate in our performance in June that will display their growth as dancers.

Welcome to MSCA

Dreams begin....

Welcome to MSCA

Dreams begin....

I believe that we learn by practice. Whether it means to learn to dance by practicing dancing or to learn to live by practicing living, the principles are the same. In each, it is the performance of a dedicated precise set of acts, physical or intellectual, from which comes shape of achievement, a sense of one’s being, a satisfaction of spirit. One becomes, in some area, an athlete of God. Practice means to perform, over and over again in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. Practice is a means of inviting the perfection desired.
— Martha Graham
