TUITION
Our classes run from September through June, with tuition based on a monthly rate. Tuition remains the same each month regardless of the number of classes (including holidays or weather closures). Tuition is due by the 1st of each month and is non-refundable, including missed classes due to illness, injury, or absence. The first month’s tuition, along with a non-refundable $25 registration fee, is due upon enrollment.
PAYMENTS
Payments may be made by cash, check, or online through your parent portal. For your convenience, you may also enroll in automatic payments. Credit cards on file will be automatically charged on the 2nd of each month. Please make checks payable to “Main Stage Dance.”A $25 late fee will be applied to any account not paid by the 1st. A $25 fee will also be charged for returned checks.
DISCOUNTS
Tuition discounts are available for families enrolled in multiple classes. A Company Pass is available for company dancers, offering unlimited classes for a flat 10-month rate. Scholarships are available for families experiencing financial hardship. Please email inquiries to: info@mainstagedance.com
CANCELLATION POLICY
All classes are part of a 10-month commitment, and consistent attendance is expected. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes; however, make-up lessons may be available for absences due to illness, injury, or vacation. If a student needs to withdraw, written notice must be submitted by the 1st of the month to avoid being charged for that month. In the event of weather-related or emergency cancellations, updates will be communicated via email and social media. Make-up classes may be offered when possible.
WHAT WE EXPECT
Students are expected to follow all studio rules. Teachers may refuse participation if guidelines are not met. Dance requires discipline, commitment, and respect—attendance, effort, and proper attire are essential.
CLASSROOM ETIQUETTE
Arrive prepared (please use the restroom before class). No talking during instruction. Proper dance attire and hair are required. No street shoes, jewelry, gum, or food allowed in the studio. All belongings must be labeled. Clean up after yourself.
CLASS PLACEMENT
Students are placed based on skill, progress, and readiness—not age alone. Advancement is not automatic. Some programs (such as Cecchetti) may require exams and additional weekly classes. Teachers evaluate students regularly to ensure placement supports both growth and confidence. Progress reports are shared mid-year and at the end of the year through the parent portal.
